Prescription renewals done during an in person or telephone appointment are covered by OHIP.
Prescription renewals requested by phone or fax, whether by patient or pharmacy, are not covered by OHIP and the patient will be charged a $25 fee, unless the block fee has been paid. If you are okay with the fee and you know a renewal is needed then please have the pharmacy fax us a request and you will be invoiced. If you would like to book an appointment to have your prescriptions reviewed/renewed, please allow 2 weeks notice and call the office to book or book online.
